A reimagining of the long-running series "Walker, Texas Ranger," "Walker" follows the adventures of Cordell Walker, a widower and father of two with his own moral code, as he returns home to Austin after being under cover for two years, only to discover there's harder work to be done at home. He must attempt to reconnect with his creative and thoughtful son and his headstrong, somewhat rebellious teenage daughter and navigate clashes with his family -- an ADA brother who stepped in during Walker's absence, his perceptive mother and his traditional rancher father. Walker finds unexpected common ground with his new partner while growing increasingly suspicious about the circumstances surrounding his wife's death.

Zachary B @RT56490365 06/16/2024 This season is absolutely awful. The plot is driven only by idiotic and irrational decision making, poor communication, and stupid coincidences. The whole plotline with Stella is so dumb you'll lose brain cells, Augie's military plotline is absurd, Walker's stammering is at an all-time high, and the end-game for the season is so telegraphed that a stroke victim could predict it. See more Brittany S @RT43394148 05/20/2024 I love all the episodes of season 4!! Please Renew Walker For Season 5 and More!! Them canceling Walker after 4 season is too soon and they need to change their minds period!! 🙏🏻❤️ See more kel b @RT08628981 04/21/2024 I think this show keeps getting better and better! It has a lot of heart - tempered with some action - and the talent to sustain. I hope it keeps going for years to come. The only aspect I sometimes don't love is the music. See more Brian N @RT19461463 04/07/2024 I started watching this show a few years ago and I am amazed by how it is evolving. Each season appears to offer a new insight into the directors’ capabilities. In Season 4 premier, the Walker family remains united and they seem understanding of each other’s responsibilities and struggles. Cordell Walker has a demanding job but it is interesting how his parents and brother are always there fore his teenage sons. Ohh I also noted cinematography in the premier scene. I tend to focus on how the director tells the story and the impact on the viewers. Like the Delmonico brother’s scene. The use of low light creates suspense and the music adds drama. Then the outstanding brothers, where one thinks he knows the other best but finds out he has something going on with his girlfriend. I feel this scene was incomplete though, but it was perfectly directed. The episode’s character seems to understand their roles which makes it worth watching. I am glad I have to watch some more episodes. See more Joseph G @RT77646508 04/06/2024 The premiere episode of the fourth season titled "The"Quiet", kicks off with a bang, seamlessly picking up where the previous season left off and diving headfirst into new challenges and mysteries. From the opening moments, it's clear that this season is poised to deliver another thrilling and emotionally resonant journey for fans of the series. The episode wastes no time in reestablishing the central conflicts and character dynamics that drive the show. Cordell Walker, portrayed once again with gravitas by Jared Padalecki, finds himself grappling with the aftermath of a shocking revelation that threatens to upend his personal and professional life. As he navigates the fallout, Padalecki's performance shines, conveying Walker's inner turmoil with raw emotion and intensity. Supporting characters are also given moments to shine, with Lindsey Morgan's Micki Ramirez stepping into a more prominent role as she grapples with her own demons and professional aspirations. And of course, the Delmonico brothers who are featured towards the end of the episode in a high stakes action scene. Frank Delmonico is especially interesting seeing that he is accused of undermining his boss. One of the standout aspects of the season premiere is its tightly woven plot, which balances high-stakes action with intimate character moments. The episode deftly introduces new storylines and adversaries while seamlessly tying up loose ends from the previous season, ensuring that both longtime fans and newcomers are fully invested from the start. However, the episode is not without its minor flaws. Some pacing issues arise in certain scenes, with transitions between plotlines feeling slightly rushed or disjointed. Additionally, while the introduction of new characters adds intrigue to the narrative, there is a risk of overcrowding the ensemble cast if not handled carefully in future episodes.
