In continuing with the original series "Yes, Minister," Jim Hacker has been made the new prime minister, but he still relies on help from his mentor, Sir Humphrey Appleby, when it comes to making political decisions that affect the entire state. The new head of state has also requested that the rest of his staff tag along with him to his new office, including his private secretary, Bernard Woolley. As with the show's predecessor, most episodes conclude with a character uttering the words "Yes, Prime Minister."
