Blake- N @PBSAniDom Jun 9 Just My Luck is a confusing and disappointing film that never really finds its identity. Despite being produced by TCF and Regency, it feels oddly unfocused from start to finish, as if it cannot decide what kind of story it wants to tell. The tone shifts in ways that don’t always work, making it hard to stay engaged. What could have been a light, enjoyable comedy instead comes across as uneven and inconsistent. The characters also struggle to leave any real impact. Even with a simple premise, the execution feels messy, and the humor rarely lands the way it should. Overall, the film ends up being more frustrating than entertaining. It feels poorly put together and lacks the charm or clarity needed to make it memorable. I’d rate it a 1/10. It's your typical rom-com with a silly and intriguing enough premise of someone with all of the luck vs. someone who doesn't + the exchange of these qualities & how they affect their daily life. The movie mainly works due to the charming and easy going leads who make us care and root for them getting together.
