Young Cole Sear (Haley Joel Osment) is haunted by a dark secret: he is visited by ghosts. Cole is frightened by visitations from those with unresolved problems who appear from the shadows. He is too afraid to tell anyone about his anguish, except child psychologist Dr. Malcolm Crowe (Bruce Willis). As Dr. Crowe tries to uncover the truth about Cole's supernatural abilities, the consequences for client and therapist are a jolt that awakens them both to something unexplainable.

You leave slightly asquirm. You know it will linger. It becomes a clammy, chilly movie building toward a revelation that you cannot predict. As I say: I cannot tell you. You'd hate me if I did. I can only say, don't look now, but look sometime.

All these years later, The Sixth Sense still holds up as an all around great film. The film powerfully portrays the emotional journeys of three separate characters without short-changing any of their stories.

Everyone should watch once, no question. This is a good movie and was a unique concept at the time. Plus this literally is the OG M.Night twist. BUT despite being M.Nights breakout film and redefining the genre, it has much less replayability than others, like signs. It doesn't bring the whimsy and quirkiness that I love about his other films. I wonder what I would've rated it 20 years ago, probably much higher.

Love this movie. It's clever especially on a second watch. Brilliant acting by the young actor. Keeps the intrigue from start to finish. I rewatched it recently and found it just as good even though I knew the twists.

First time watching it. I would have rated it more when it first came out. Felt dated. Crazy it took this long for me to watch it. Obviously knew the spoiler. But being a film master myself, I would have guessed it any way. Yes well done me. My significant other agrees with meeeeee
