Actor Arthur Pierson appeared in a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Pierson began his acting career appearing in various films, such as "Bachelor's Affairs" (1932), "No One Man" (1932) with Carole Lombard and "Rackety Rax" (1932). He also appeared in "The Strange Case of Clara Deane" (1932) and "Tomorrow and Tomorrow" (1932). His film career continued throughout the thirties in productions like the drama "Air Hostess" (1933) with Evalyn Knapp, the drama "Ann Carver's Profession" (1933) with Fay Wray and "The Devil's Brother" (1933). He also appeared in the romance "The Way to Love" (1933) with Maurice Chevalier and the action picture "Murder in the Clouds" (1934) with Lyle Talbot. In the latter half of his career, Pierson directed the Billy Halop drama "Dangerous Years" (1947), the Douglas Fairbanks Jr. adventure "The Fighting O'Flynn" (1949) and "Home Town Story" (1951) with Jeffrey Lynn. In addition to his directing, Pierson also appeared on-screen in "Sweet Surrender" (1935). Pierson last worked on "The Adventures of Jonny Quest" (CBS, 1964-1980). Pierson passed away in January 1975 at the age of 74.
