Bae and Bong reteamed on the sci-fi monster movie, "The Host" (2005), which was a smash hit in Korea and gave Bae more international attention. Directors Andy and Lana Wachowski noticed, and cast Bae in "Cloud Atlas" (2012), their adaptation of the epic time-shifting novel by David Mitchell.
