      George Burton was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Burton's career beginnings included film roles in "Wild West" (1925) and the romance "The Painted Desert" (1931) with Helen Twelvetrees. Burton began to focus on film after appearing in "In Old Santa Fe" (1934) with Ken Maynard, "Tumbling Tumbleweeds" (1935) with Gene Autry and the western "Come on Cowboys" (1937) with Robert Livingston. Burton's music was most recently featured in the Larenz Tate period drama "The Inkwell" (1994).
