Melissa Young

Melissa Young boasted an impressive roster of roles for television movies and specials throughout the course of her entertainment career as an actress. She had an early role on the television special "Bar Girls" (CBS, 1989-1990). She also appeared in the TV movie "Uneasy Lies the Crown" (ABC, 1989-1990). She also was featured in the miniseries "An Inconvenient Woman" (1990-91). She worked in television in her early acting career as well, including parts on "In the Heat of the Night" (CBS, 1987-1994) and "Dear John" (NBC, 1988-1992). Several more television roles followed in the nineties, including stints on "Beverly Hills 90210" (Fox, 1990-2000) and "Burke's Law" (CBS, 1993-95). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Lucy & Desi: Before the Laughter" (CBS, 1990-91). Recently, she tackled roles on "The George Carlin Show" (1993-95), "My Wildest Dreams" (Fox, 1994-95) and "Just Shoot Me" (NBC, 1996-2003). She also appeared in the Kevin Costner dramatic sports film "Tin Cup" (1996). Most recently, Young worked on the comedy adaptation "Legally Blonde" (2001) with Reese Witherspoon.
