Developed his unorthodox shooting style by having to arc his shot over his older sister Cheryl's outstretched arms. Set a number of records at UCLA, including most points in a half (33), points in league play in a season (500), and free throws in a season (202). Etched his name in Madison Square Garden lore in two playoff games against the Knicks, scoring 25 points in the fourth quarter of a 1994 conference finals victory and eight points in a remarkable 8.9-second span of a 1995 conference semifinal win. The signature moments were accentuated by Miller's interaction with courtside Knicks fan Spike Lee. Started the 1995 NBA All-Star Game in Phoenix, becoming the first Indiana Pacer to do so, and led the Pacers to their only NBA Finals in 2000. Retired as the NBA's all-time leader in three-point field goals (2560), three-point attempts (6486) and four-point plays (24) . Served as the Grand Marshal of the 2005 Indianapolis 500 Festival Parade, earning the honor of waving the green flag to start the race. Established a film production company in 2005 called Boom Baby Productions.
