Joel H @RT47793553 Mar 21 The Dream Team seems like it would be just that with Michael Keaton, Christopher Lloyd, and Peter Boyle at the helm. And this comedy used to be a favorite of mine when I was growing up. Seeing it now was a little different, because it isn’t as consistently hilarious as I remember it being. The funny jokes are still there, sure, but they’re a bit more spread out. The runtime is filled mostly with serious plotlines, including reconciliation, recuperation, and the 80s comedy trope of including a dark underbelly of crime. So no, The Dream Team isn’t a home run, but I don’t think I’m nuts for enjoying it. Good pace, not too long. Worth a Saturday night.
