I heard that Koontz, after viewing Hideaway, had requested the filmmakers take his name off the project. Not a good sign.

Audience Reviews for Hideaway

A spectacular movie. At times, it is spectacularly bad. I enjoyed it for Jeff Goldblum, Christine Lahti and its complete and utter ridiculousness. Many will hate it.

I'm impressed...it was good. But whata fuck was up with the ending? ...It's like they though "ohh shit...we're out of money...let's throw in som bad effects and wrap things up"
