A couple of real laughs is but mostly forced and trying too hard. And those tedious and utterly predictable chase scenes get tiresome, and this movie's chases are particularly foolish and lame. But it was a box office smash so there's clearly a market for this stuff.
Laugh out loud funny!!!! Hill and Tatum's chemistry on screen is as strong as ever!!
Perfect pitch for what it is; great cast and cameos; best closing credits
Better than 21 Jump Street (2012), really enjoyed this and could see it becoming a cult-classic.
Much like The Lego Movie 2, 22 Jump Street isn't quite the laugh riot that the first film was and I felt that it was a bit mean-spirited towards poor Jonah Hill but the Lord/Miller team's gifts for comedy and story make this sequel to a parody adaptation of a TV show a fun, goofy movie in its own right that has more of the same great bromantic chemistry between Hill and Channing Tatum.
Its essential the same as the last movie. But I still had a good time with this. Its not too proud to make fun of its self.
A great sequel to a great comedy. 22 Jump Street manages to satisfy while improving upon the originals formula. The great chemistry and amazing screenplay is yet again, phenomenal. The comedy was hilarious, just like the action style used and its writing. While it also builds upon the bromance as it adds more unexpecting twists and turns. It still stretches the reality to unlikely, but the movie was so enjoyable, you don't even care.
Absolutely incredible this was perfect hilarious and such amazing acting and humour
Still wildly funny and a fun film but not quite at the level of its predecessor. The breaking-the-fourth-wall references got a little heavy handed in the first act but, all in all, still a great buddy comedy to throw on anytime you just want to sit back and laugh.
the post credits are worth watching the entire movie for.
