Movie Info

'Tis the season to celebrate with everyone's favorite St. Bernard, Beethoven, in an all-new, heartwarming holiday adventure where the hilarious canine speaks for the first time! When Henry the elf (Kyle Massey, TV's That's So Raven) flees the North Pole with Santa's sleigh and his magical bag of toys, he crash-lands the precious cargo in a suburban neighborhood tree. But when the bag ends up in the wrong hands, it's up to heroic Beethoven and his teenage pal, Mason (Munro Chambers, TV's Degrassi: The Next Generation), to rescue Henry, fetch Santa's toys and save Christmas for children everywhere. Featuring an all-star cast, including Tom Arnold as the voice of Beethoven, it's a barking good time for the whole family!

Give me some sugar. A Christmas elf is denied the chance to become one of Santa's toy makers and is greatly disappointed. He accidentally takes off in Santa's sleigh and lands right on Beethoven's doorsteps. Beethoven and his owner will do everything they can to help the elf save face and not ruin Christmas. "What are we going to do?" "Two words: RUN!" John Putch, director Route 30 1-3, The Poseidon Adventure, A Time to Remember, Intrepid, Alone in the Woods, Alone, and Waiting to Act, delivers Beethoven's Christmas Adventure. The storyline for this picture is very mediocre and as you'd expect for the genre. The acting is Disney channel quality and nothing special. The use of the animals was just okay. "It's time to get your nose out of your butt and listen." I came across this on Netflix and added it to the wishlist to watch with my daughter. This was an okay addition to the Christmas genre that isn't anything special and only worth watching if nothing better is on. Grade: D

Was this a good film? No. Bug is it terrible? No. But one of the only things I liked was Tom Arnold's voicing. GRADE:C-
