One of the best films targeting the gay interest group without focusing on pessimistic elements. It's a film about the friendship between a group of gay men as they deal with their problems. It has surprisingly good performance from everyone, plus it has a nice message by showing the characters as normal people with normal problems. A rare gem for people interested in this type of cinema.

Great romantic comedy

Charming, insightful look into gay life in West Hollywood in 2000. Zack Graff, Dean Cain, Justin Theroux, Billy Porter head the cast. Touching.

***Due to the recent RT changes that have basically ruined my past reviews, I am mostly only giving a rating rather than a full review.***

Good gay-oriented story about a group of friend and the relationships between them and their lovers.

Overused plot, but entertaining enough. I like the general feel of the movie, it tells drama in gay life as it is.

With annoying or stereotypical characters, conventional story and sitcom-like approach, The Broken Hearts Club never feels interesting or groundbreaking. A mediocre film.

So Weird to see some of your favorite Hunks & Leading Men Play Gay Men Having Trouble With Other Gay Men ? Like Dean Kane , Timothy Olyphant & Justin Theroux.. Wow was this a great Movie to watch with your Gay BF ; ) It just goes to show that everyone has relationship problems & no one wants to end up alone in the end no matter what .. This is one of those cuddle up on the couch rainy day Movies & a Must see just to watch Timothy Olyphant kiss a Boy .. Guys have fantasy's about 2 girls all the time ..Why can't Girl's have the same fantasy's about Guys ??

A top 5 favourite movie.

The most annoying cast ever assembled but directed by Everwood's champion Greg Berlanti. I'm sold on his (and Dean Cain's) name alone.

Loved this film so much...

A well-scripted comedy that unfortunately loses momentum at the half-way mark. The performances, though, are excellent across the board with Timothy Olyphant, Zach Braff and Billy Porter particularly solid. With flashes of some fast-delivered humour, this is a fine tale of friendship and love.

Solid but not very memorable otherwise.

Different but enjoyed it!

Totally worth it! It was funny to see some of these "big-time" actors playing such different roles, but a good attempt from everyone. The more times you watch it, the better it gets. Don't watch it expecting a lot of's not there; it does explore relationships. Go watch it!

Not as crass or tone-deaf as so many crazy-thing-called-love wastes of time are. At its best moments it's an entertaining and decently funny sideshow. The acting is mostly low-key and cool, and there is always some enthusiasm and tenderness in the script. It isn't transcendent or awe-inspiring, unfortunately, but it's fairly smart and valuable overall.
