The story of the two guys makes for an unbiased perspective. Also, good soundtrack with Tanya Morgan playing in the background See more 11/04/2013 Drawing Dead is a poker documentary that takes an unblinking look at both sides of the online poker equation. It points out the positives of the online game, as exemplified by Dusty Schmidt and his success in the game, and furthermore shows how the game of poker has become engrained in not only the American culture but internationally also. It also shows the potential downsides of the online game, as exemplified by Michael Korpi's descent into problem gambling. Very few poker documentaries take a look at both sides of the situation and Drawing Dead presents an even-handed approach to telling those stories. It isn't going to improve your poker game, but it will advance your understanding of a very complex issue. See more 10/25/2013 Great film. Genuine & interesting. The two sides of online poker, as told through the tales of two players on opposite ends of the winning/losing spectrum compel the viewer to think about gambling, addiction, risk, and reward all while exposing the rise of online poker through the poker boom, Black Friday, and beyond.
