Movie Info

The proposed construction of a dam affects property values and ignites a heated land dispute in a small Nevada town. After conniving lawyer Cliff Harkness (Irving Pichel) reveals a suspicious deed entitling him to every acre of land in town, a group of ranchers led by Wade Benton (Kent Taylor) raise the money to buy their homes back from him. But, when the receipt goes missing, Benton takes the blame and ends up behind bars. To stop Harkness, Benton must escape and become the Phantom Rider.
