See more 09/26/2014 The second Guinea Pig movie seems to be the most notorious. Whether that is because it is the most extreme of the series, or whether this is merely the one that Charlie Sheen supposedly saw and (as the story goes) thought it was real and contacted the FBI about. Flower of Flesh and Blood is, to my eyes, fairly obviously fake. But it's the convincing sort of fake that if you want to suspend your disbelief, it ends up being a rather gruesome experience. The visuals are red and fleshy, but it's the sound that makes the movie stomach turning. You hear every snap, crackle, and pop as our poetic main character crudely puts knife to flesh. And unlike the first Guinea Pig movie, this one has a barebone attempt at a storyline. This storyline, as much as anything, betray's Flower of Flesh and Blood as a product of special effects. In any case, this is definitely a step up from Guinea Pig: Devil's Experiment, both in terms of production values and general viewing experience. However, Devil's Experiment has a more distinct disturbing vibe to it. Rating this is somewhat arbitrary since, as with the first Guinea Pig, it's either a 1 or a 5 depending on criteria. The overall package here feels more cohesive, so it gets the larger score. See more 05/09/2013 For hardened horror fan only. Very disturbing exploitation movie. If you can stomach it, great authentic effects. Not for the weak stomached. See more 04/19/2013 From the same country that doesn't allow public hair to be shown on camera, they give us a girl being violently tortured for 42 minutes.... go figure huh? This low budget Japanese gorefest is very messed up and disturbing, but not super great as a horror film. Gore hounds will just love it but straight forward horror fans won't get it. I fall alittle in between both of those categories, where I love a good horror film with a plot...but I also love cheesy pointless gore. This is alittle goofy when you get right down to it and just shows you how much fucking crack Charlie Sheen was on to think this was real. Last time I checked Chuck, a real life snuff film most likely doesn't use slow motion effects, musical scores, and multiple camera angles for a real life 8mm murder film you fucking idiot. This mind you is someone who has been in the film business, (along with most of his family) for most of his life. He still can't tell when something in a movie is fake? He just needs to overdose on coke and call it a day. This Wasn't worth the time and effort to get upset about at all!!!!! See more 02/01/2013 Guinea Pig 2 Flowers Of Flesh and Blood is the best in the Guinea Pig films next to its predecessor Guinea Pig Devil's Experiment. This time the movie runs in about 42 minutes and this time we get to see a crazed psychotic samurai kidnapped and rugged a woman in the empty streets of Tokyo and he drugged her and starts to proceed the process of dismembering her whole body to add her body parts in the collection of Flowers Of Flesh and Blood. This is a really sick film and it is really sick and extreme at the same time. This movie has all of the gore and it is what I consider along with the first one as Horror in its purest form. This movie has all of the goodies just like what the first one has which is the gore and extreme brutality just like its predecessor. Like the first movie this sequel focuses more on dismembering, amputation and decapitation because the first movie focuses more on torture before the final execution. This movie is shocking and totally stomach churning and it is one of the films that most people must avoid if they are not fund of watching lots of blood ad guts splatter onscreen in the film. Although this will truly satisfy both fans of extreme Horror and Gorehounds because the gore and goodies that Flowers Of Flesh and Blood has can satisfy Gorehounds and fans of Extreme Horror a lot. This movie seriously pushed the limits of Extreme Horror and it is in its purest and most sadistic form. Both the first Guinea Pig and this movie totally pushed the limits of its violence and gore effects in to the highest meter. There's a huge amount of gory bits in this movie that are shocking, brutal, graphic and top notch disturbing at the same time. The cutting of the girls hand while she's drugged is seriously realistic and people who saw this will think that they are watching a snuff movie other than a Horror movie. The shoulder amputation is also realistic and super gory as well and everything that the crazed samurai is doing is super realistic and the effects are so sick and nasty as well the gore in every scene is used really well. The foot and leg amputation is one of the most bizarre and nastiest scenes in the film and it seriously pushed the limits for any gore fan because if gorehounds want blood and gore and extreme brutality this is definitely for any gorehound. The scene where the Samurai opens the girl's body is the nastiest parts of the film and the way he opened her body is so sick and brutal plus hardcore as well on the gore and the intestines and the other body parts look so realistic. And the final execution of the film which is the decapitation is so extreme and really hardcore as well and it can truly satisfy gorehounds and fans of extreme Horror a lot. And the eye gouging sequence is so graphic and the most disgusting part of the movie since the operating scene so far. Now the acting is great the psycho in the movie did a really good job with his role in the film and he does deliver some good credit because his role in the film makes people think that he's an actual psycho killer who just killed a woman with all the tools he just used on her. The acting of the girl is also good and her moans and groans are not as distracting as the girl in the first movie and overall she did a good job with her role in the film so far. Overall Guinea Pig Flowers Of Flesh and Blood gets a 10/10 because this movie has everything that can satisfy both gorehounds and fans of Extreme Horror as well. This is the best in the series next to its predecessor. See more 01/31/2013 If your into this kind of stuff you'll love it. I'm a big fan of gore, but I still need a good story to push the film along. This lacks that entirely. See more Read all reviews
