Despite its ungainly title, Darnell Martin's debut is a lovely, well-rounded comedy-drama.

A light feminist streak runs through this tale of woman search for self-fulfillment by Darnell Martin, one of the gifted African American directors to emerge in the 1990s.

Audience Reviews for I Like It Like That

Crap. How did this end up as a Film Festival pic. The characters have the complexity of cardboard as they meet stereotypes well.

Not bad, has the feel of a Spike Lee movie. It's about a latina women who's man is a dick so she leaves him and dates her boss while juggling kids (not literally)

One of those quirky movies you can't help but watch and then you watch it again and find yourself picking out your favorite parts and it doesn't hurt that cute Jon Seda is in in.
