Lleft after 30 minutes. This is a mess of a film, missed the mark for comedy, audience sat there in stony silence. Baffled as to how it ever got released

Went to see this on a whim knowing little about it but really enjoyed it. First part seems to follow a predictable story line, satirising a posh vain older woman, but then the story takes a sideways lurch into surreal, almost magical territory and builds to a unexpectedly moving conclusion. Lots of sly comedy in there too. Kudos to both Sian Clifford and Laurie Kynaston in the two lead roles of Isabella and Sam. Not especially likeable characters at the start of film but I found myself caring for them deeply as the film went on. Great film to stumble across on a Thursday morning in my local indie cinema.

Stupid. Sian Clifford's admittedly strong acting isn't enough to hold up this completely daft and vapid film. The story is complete nonsense, without the charm or cunning to make it bearable. Similarly daft efforts are made to make the characters likeable, but fail. Laurie Kynaston's character Sam is just an annoying twerp. Save yourself the time and money.
