Marco, an Argentinian director, creates--together with a group of elderly people in Tokyo--a theater play based on their memories and fictions. One of the amateur actresses, Chiyoko, starts performing Noh to save her old theater from destruction, while the spirit of her husband--a deceased master--asks her to find a forgotten pine where Noh was born hundreds of years ago. Confronted with the Coronavirus, they will struggle to create a play that will change their lives, facing the darkness of the past, the light of friendship and the mystery of death.
