Audience Reviews for Chakushin ari final (One Missed Call Final)

Like all the others in the series this movie is good, there were things that made this the best in the series but also set it off from being great. Personally i love when movies incorporate betrayal and absolute chaos like this movie did. They figure out how to save themselves from the killer call (sort of how you get rid of sadako's curse in ringu). In doing so all hell breaks lose from the students and they turn on eachother trying to kill whoever they see, personally i liked it.

The ghost in the cell phones is back again in this third installment of the "One Missed Call" franchise. Granted, this is nowhere as good as Takashi Miike's first flick, but it's much better than the sequel. It's not entirely faithful to either of its two predecessors, which works out in its favor. It frees the story to offer a few twists, including allowing the victims the option of forwarding the death call to someone else, introducing a new element of tension into the story. Decent special effects, good acting, a few scares and an unusual twist as to the origin of the ghost keep this from being a generic J-horror flick. Despite its shortcomings, "One Missed Call: Final" is a watchable 135 minutes and a solid ending for the franchise.
