Los Angeles is enduring a heat wave and a crime wave, so the pressure on police officer Michael Harrigan (Danny Glover) to solve a strange string of murders is mounting. Harrigan thinks the culprit can be found among the warring gangs and drug cartels, but FBI Special Agent Peter Keyes (Gary Busey) knows the horrible truth: Their killer is a fearsome extraterrestrial (Kevin Peter Hall) with keen hunting abilities that include superior night vision and the power to make itself invisible.

At first, the film seems no more than an old-fashioned monster-movie... However, there is a more disturbing sub-text, reminiscent of the cinematic aliens born of the Red scare of the Fifties, but rendered here more self-consciously for the Nineties.

Having Glover speak dialogue along the lines of "What the ----?" is like serving caviar on spam. The whole cast is better than "Predator 2" deserves.

I’m sorry, but I just cannot recommend this movie. The movie was executed very poorly, and it’s just not a good sequel at all. Danny Glover also just played a sucky roll in this movie. If you can, please skip this movie

A crime spree is looming in LA while Lieutenant Harrigan tries to solve a series of gang murders to find a Predator. This is an alright continuation of the franchise with a new hunting ground, new armory for the Predator and a Xenomorph Easter egg.
