Resident Evil: Extinction (a.k.a. Mad Max with zombies) improves over what was bad about the last movie by having better action sequences, improved acting and just more effort this time around. Unfortunately, this third entry in the hit series of zombie movies is also disappointingly short, having tons of unexplained crap and, despite the aforementioned effort, is also rather convoluted, due to falling into the same trap as many video game movies: trying to appease the fans and appeal to audiences locked out of the loop at the same time. But at least I can actually see who's fighting who this time around :p
Mila Jovovich is not that hot but unfortunately it seems that is all these movies are focused on. Naked Mila Jovovich. Over and over again. Dumb.
It ups the crazy, but increases the "umm...what?" moments.
This barely gets a two star rating. In fact, I don't think it's all worth it in the long shot of this series. Barely anything happens until around the fifty minute mark until the end. I consider this the worst one. I can barely tolerate it, and that's just barely. Characters who I liked are killed off. The desolate desert location of Las Vegas was great to look at. But they didn't have anywhere to go, and nothing to accomplish. When it was finally getting good, it then shoves us off to wrap up the story. At the end, I instantly wanted to see something better. It was okay, but barely.
i like how the story was split into three the first one focus on claire and her convoy then the second is alice and the third is umbrella struggles with their experiments but i honestly think it should've been like that the rest of the series. but Anderson got too carried away on killing off major characters and heroes spoiler. Carlos dies in this one smh
These films have the same fucking story and it gets dumber with each sequel.
It kinda lost me of the previous film but I got the story of it when I saw the second time
I saw this movie in my T.V . I liked it. I want to see this movie again in HD quality. I want to see all the parts of Resident Evil movie saga. I love Milla Jovovich.
my least favorite of the franchise, although at least the elements it contains serve not to bore
Hey, it was better than the last one.
