Sanjay's Super Team feels like it's in a league of its own.

Overall, the film is rather slight, but it's an appealing slice of (mostly fantasy) life and an affectionate reflection on a treasured personal relationship.

A fast-paced, dynamic superhero throwdown, full of Tron-worthy, bright, glowing colors and a tremendously effective sound design. It's sweet and intense, and it treads new ground in diversity for Pixar... Bring on the Sanjay movie.

It's like an uninspired riff on the "Powerpuff Girls," however heartfelt.

Audience Reviews for Sanjay's Super Team

Nominated for Best Short Animated Film at the Oscars. Action packed with a simple story in this CGI short. A young Indian boy would rather watch superhero cartoons on TV than meditate with his father. When forced to set aside his toys and the remote he finds himself carried away and imagines three Hindu gods as superheroes fighting the powers of darkness. The boy is not just an observer, he gets to participate and play a hero too. He gains new appreciation of his father's culture.
