Wally Karue (Richard Pryor) is a blind man looking for a job. Dave Lyons (Gene Wilder) is a deaf man who runs a newsstand. When Dave hires Wally, he never imagines they'll have to work together to survive. After a murder occurs at their newsstand, they figure out who the killer is with their collective senses -- but the investigating detective (Alan North) pegs them as the main suspects. When the real killer (Joan Severance) returns to cover her tracks, the two must really cooperate to live.

This movie has action, drama and comedy. Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor Are comedy gold. Richard Pryor plays Wally and Gene Wilder plays Dave. Wally & Dave In spite of their impairments are unlikely action heroes who catch the bad guys. Wilder and Pryor do physical comedy as well as slapstick comedy. Two of the best actor comedians of all time. They do buddy comedies so well. Because they were buddies in real life. That chemistry definitely shows in the films that they made together.

This is absolutely great movie it don’t make them like they used to just a comedy your love laugh and just watch. Definitely watch a movie. You crazy crack up, but you could watch it with Family and Lil. It’s just great.

Probably Pryor and Wilder's funniest collaboration, although about 10 minutes too long. Could this be made in 2025? Making fun of disabilities? Features a very, very beautiful Joan Severance and also Kevin Spacey as the villains-the first notable movie appearances for both of them.

Synopsis
