... we reel away from the small screen, vowing perhaps an anchorite stint of silence, abstinence, and wild berries. Go to Full Review

Like Hitchcock once said, an audience will be in touch with any character if they're good at their job. Michael Bennett is a character. Go to Full Review

It seems to be a case of pointing a camera at a subject and hoping he does the rest, and [this subject] just doesn't do enough to help Landis get away with that thinking. Go to Full Review

10/16/2013 It's good to see a John Landis helmed project that is as funny as his earlier films. Slasher delivers the documentary goods in finding an entertaining character and capturing characters on the lot. See more 02/13/2012 Riveting documentary that keeps you amused for the full 85 minutes. The subject matter might seem boring but this movie is all about the people. See more 07/04/2011 Good movie about the Traveling Car Liquidation Business, Mike Bennett is the subject of the movie/Documentary. Old school guy, worked with him years ago in Missouri at a Ford Store...Man loves to drink, as shown on the movie..lol See more 05/12/2011 A recommendation from my boy Greg. Great movie. Funny and sad doc: my favorite kind of doc. Surprised I ain't heard of this before. John Landis, promote your shit. Btw the DVD is non-anamorphic, so be aware of that. See more 02/13/2011 This was a great documentary that I saw a few years ago on cable. Check it out if you can. See more 03/19/2010 Definitely one of those "I can't believe someone actually does this for a living" moments. But Michael Bennett, whether he likes it or not, seems born to hustle used cars. A bit depressing to see the strapped inhabitants of one of America's decaying cities either completely unable to buy cars, or worse, signing up for financing they most likely won't be able to afford. But hey, the soundtrack is pretty awesome! See more Read all reviews
