It's not about poverty pornography. It's not about a White guy showing us touchy Brown-skins squatting by the rail-tracks. In the end, it's just about a film, which sweeps you up and takes you for an exhilarating ride on the wild side.

Easily one of the greatest movies I have seen in quite a long-time. The way Jamal never gave up hope for Latika, and how in a world full of darkness-Jamal still found his light in Latika. A total must-see movie.

It's about of a teenager who defies all the odds and become a millionaire by revisiting the all the anecdote that's how he knew all the answers of the particular question with his real life incidents that had happened in his real life. This movie taught a lesson that no matter how much situation will be worse but at the end Good people get the justice, this movie is the perfect example of JUST WORLD FALLACY.. I APPRECIATE THE ARTIST WORK,

Spoiler alert. It’s been on my watchlist for quite some time now and I finally watched it. What can I say, let’s start with what I liked: the acting, the plot, production and most importantly the movie’s structure! The first half of the movie is very promising and the story in general is incredible actually, I wish it was executed a bit differently tho. The ending was kinda rushed in my opinion. When it comes to Latika, I really wanted to get to know her more (her adult version) because it just appears as if she walked from one millionaire to another. Which makes the overall message a bit questionable in my opinion. It just makes it seem like money can buy everything, including happiness and true love. I honestly wish that Jamal would’ve answered incorrectly but Latika would’ve chose him anyway. That would be more inspiring. I am aware that this movie is loved by lots of ppl. In 2008 it may have been one of the best but in 2026, not sure if it aged well.
