Matt L 12/26/2023 This movie is the old western of the Arctic. An epic tale of a seasoned Alaskan roaming the wilds with his two dogs to escape civilization, Sourdough balances that old-time-cinema slow pace with action scenes that were way beyond the standard at the time. If you like fun, older films filled with adventure, then you should definitely give this one a try. See more 04/26/2019 Written as a documentary. There was a lot of interest in Alaska and living in solitude. I remember movies such as The Wilderness Family, a Disney movie. Of course Grisly Adams. On Sunday nights TV. DICK Prenneke's Documentary movie. And book about his building a log cabin and living in Solitude, as a 50 year old man. In Alaska, in the Twin lake's Area. This movie is a bit corny, and staged, but beautifully filmed. See more Read all reviews
