Even as the overstuffed plot ventures into dark territory, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is a lot of fun, but it's predicated on the notion that even a Spider-kid who's been artificially kept a teenager for six decades needs to grow up.

One of the more confusing story lines Ive encountered lately. Spider-Man cant quite seem to figure out who he wants to be and movie writers never committed to figuring that out either. Darker than I expected and left the movie feeling relieved it was over.

⭐ 1 STAR — BE CAREFUL BUYING FROM FANDANGO I’m extremely disappointed with Fandango and want to warn other customers about my experience. I purchased movie tickets through Fandango, ended up missing the movie, and the tickets were never used. I contacted Fandango asking for help with a refund, but they refused to give me my money back. I understand companies have policies, but when a customer pays for tickets that are never used and reaches out asking for help, I expect better customer service than simply being told no. What bothered me most was feeling like once Fandango had my money, there was nothing they were willing to do to help. My advice: READ THE REFUND POLICY CAREFULLY before buying through Fandango. If your plans change or something happens and you miss your movie, you may be stuck paying for tickets you never used. After this experience, I would rather purchase directly from the theater whenever possible.
