Released in Great Britain as The ABC Murders, this film stars a well-disguised Tony Randall as Agatha Christie's brilliant, insufferable Belgian detective Hercule Poirot. On its own, the plot is a good one, as Poirot investigates a series of murders, with the victims arranged alphabetically.

Tony tries but this is middling, Robert Morley would have much more sense as Poirot. Contains an amusing cameo by Margaret Rutherford and Stringer Davis as Miss Marple and her loyal sidekick.
