Luckily for young Arlo, his parents (Jeffrey Wright, Frances McDormand) and his two siblings, the mighty dinosaurs were not wiped out 65 million years ago. When a rainstorm washes poor Arlo (Raymond Ochoa) downriver, he ends up bruised, battered and miles away from home. Good fortune shines on the frightened dino when he meets Spot (Jack Bright), a Neanderthal boy who offers his help and friendship. Together, the unlikely duo embark on an epic adventure to reunite Arlo with his beloved family.

The Good Dinosaur deserves way more love than it gets. The visuals are absolutley breathtaking, with some of the most beautifull landscapes Pixar has ever put on screen. Beneath the gorgeous animation is a simple but surprisingly emotional story about fear, family, and growing up. The bond between Arlo and Spot is incredibly sweet, and by the end I was far more invested than I expected to be. It's heartfelt, moving, and packed with stunning imagery. Honestly, I think it's one of Pixar's most underrated movies.

Did Pixar have the A-Team working on "Inside Out" and the B-Team working on "The Good Dinosaur"? This is the most average film that Pixar has ever made. This isn't a bad movie, but it is quite the snoozer. There are some beautiful moments (i.e., the fireflies) but for the most part, this film is highly forgettable and boring. I'm someone who cries WAY too often in movies and this one did not make me shed a tear. Not even close. Best Character: Arlo Best Quote: "You are me, and more." - Poppa Best Scene: Spot and Arlo talking about their families (the stick scene) Best Piece of Score: "Arlo Makes His Mark"
