Bisquiteen T @RT65021124 2d The guy who plays Richard really drags this all down, almost made me not watch past five minutes. Everyone else is fairly charismatic, even if not "likable" (since that's not the idea at all), but he's just...it's like everyone else there is talking to a tennis ball like actors in CGI sht, except he's a human man who would be BETTER if he were a tennis ball. The story is nothing groundbreaking, but I do like seeing the "Dead Like Me" actress in this role. It's not like "rich people do crazy sht" is some brand-new avenue for writers, but I think it was fairly well-executed except for the casting of the less-than-tennis-ball-caliber tennis ball. Even when a guy gets shot, he's there like the stage direction was [he's potato-faced]. Not a terrible movie, but I really am sad for the people who actually put work in and this one guy dragged it down so much, so ridiculously much. On another note, the Richard guy looks like a young Jigsaw, which is funny because Jigsaw has NEVER looked young. See more Frans B @FransB Mar 30 Good story and well written. Cast seems convincing in character, could perhaps be better with more focused directing or more intense writing? Great cinematography and visually appealing. Enough emotion, intrigue, drama and twists. Weirdly gripping and engaging. There are some holes in story and sometimes vague. But entertaining enough See more Scott E @RT19581245 Oct 21 Started okay. Kept getting stupider as it went on. By the end terrible. See more Jordan W @RT01038528 08/11/2024 I don't know what some of the others here are saying but if you're an intelligent fan of Indie thrillers this film really delivers. The acting is subtle but really good and the story develops in an unpredictable way. If you're looking for a cookie-cutter thriller that spoon-feeds you every moment, this film is not for you. If, however, you want a though-provoking, smart, dynamic indie film that will surprised you, go for it! I'm really not sure I get the ending to this and wish it would have ended differently. See more Read all reviews
