Bruce M @BruceMc Sep 17 An uninteresting 90 minutes; if you've seen the much better "The Craft," you've seen this. The actresses are okay, but the movie is boring and ultimately fails for two reasons: again, we've seen this story many times before, and, more importantly, why is it being told "found footage" style, even to the extent that the witch on the back of a broom is recording her flight? Why do two characters each have video cameras that are on ALL THE TIME, even in the bathroom? If the lead character has her camera running all the time, why the directorial decision to cut to closed circuit video feeds (in a store, in a diner, in a hospital room) to transition between scenes? It's not a terrible movie, but clearly is for the tween market, and casting obviously- 20-somethings as high school students is never a good idea. See more 08/26/2020 This movie is just awful.
