05/29/2011 The dvd box cover I have features an old Jeff Bridges and a young James Mason. Of course in the movie it is the other way around. Bridges plays an army deserting aspiring author who gets caught up in a spy scandal when he blackmails a homosexual american scientist and Mason is a half-mexican half-chinese some kind of crime lord. In social issues the movie is pretty modern for a movie made in the seventies: for covering issues like gay blackmail and ( attempted ) lesbian rape. See more Read all reviews
