Roberto N. @Hover Feb 15 I have 3/4 of the way through this, and I have to stop and leave a review. There’s insight into a guy, who truly bares it all, finding motivation, conquering fear, a sense of unbelievable determination. Garry’s not like most of the comedians, and maybe we need to start with that. His sense of delivery is so unique, I really look forward to it. Like other comedians that develop their own unique delivery, and I’m thinking of you, Robin Williams and Stephen Wright, Garry Shandling has a way of looking at the world that’s a little bit different. A little bit twisted and is purely delightful. Is breaking of the fourth wall has always been a real treat for me, simply because it feels like when he does it he’s breaking all the rules and therefore he’s one of my kind of guys. From his friend and comedian, Judd Apatow, comes this two part documentary which contains many interviews, clips, and behind the scenes footage of this complex and impactful comedian and television personality. This was so good it inspired me to go back and watch the entire seasons of The Larry Sanders Show. TLSS is one two shows created by Garry Shandling that literally changed the face of television.
