Kevin P @RT55971421 Mar 19 A colossal crossover between the original cast and the prequel cast. There's a fun new dynamic as Wolverine now needs to mentor younger and more troubled versions of Xavier and Magneto. Quicksilver is a hilarious new character with so much personality. I love the Quicksilver scene breaking Magneto out of prison and taking the security guards out in slow-motion. It's a creative way to show Quicksilver's POV when he uses his speed powers. Throughout the film, we get heartbreaking performances from James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender. We get a heartbreaking emotional breakdown by Charles Xavier and a great conversation between past and future Xavier. It's so incredible watching Magneto lift an entire baseball stadium and then dropping it on the white house. I appreciate how Xavier convinces Mystique by apologizing. The ending is very satisfying, as a new timeline is created. It's a fantastic ending and a satisfying way to wrap up the entire X-Men saga if you just wanted to stop here. See more Rik O @Rikoshae Feb 7 I'm surprised to see this film get so much praise. There's a lot of question marks throughout where you have to suspend disbelief and not ask questions. For instance Trask is struggling to get people to buy into the idea that mutants exist and pose and existential threat which is bizarre because the government already have Magneto in a maximum security prison the pentagon for the attempted murder of the president, so they are already very aware that mutants exist and are a problem. Equally a lot of guns are conveniently plastic with plastic bullets, yet as per the aforementioned issue, the existence of mutants is in dispute for most of the film, so why make plastic guns, and how would they even work? Then there are instances where characters like wolverine just conveniently freak out, or Xavier can manipulate the minds of all the humans around mystique with ease but not her because she's somehow resistant? It's ok, but it's a bit cringe with a lot of plot holes you need to ignore See more Enrique R @EnriqueRamosLovesMovies Jan 28 X-Men: Days Of Future Past, the best X-Men movie alongside with Logan and X-Men 2. Bryan Singer is back after leaving The Last Stand and Superman Returns. Hugh Jackman is the highlight of the film, with Jennifer Lawrence. The action is awesome and epic. Mucha gente dice que es una película comercial, que es un guion adolescente; sin embargo, creo que es la mejor manera de hacer fanservice. La trama tiene sentido, tiene fuerza y sientes miedo de que todo acabe mal, lo cual no sería raro en esta franquicia. Admito que sí es medio raro ver que todo lo que pasó antes de esta película (primera trilogía de X-Men) no pasó, que simplemente no es canónico, pero me parece una comfort movie porque el final da mucha, mucha paz.
