Character development isn’t deep, but we’re given enough to connect at some level with each major player. The special effects are wanting, the execution doesn’t live up to the potential of the storyline, and repeated setups become obvious and tiresome. The production and story are what make this series so awful. It feels more unrealistic than James Bond. The only thing that kept me watching was the lead actress—she’s my crush.
