It's hard to say where the journey Wray begins here will lead him, except that it's based on something clearly authentic. Con Man isn't immediately a love letter to fandom, but that only makes it all the more real.

But Con Man might be a little overhasty in dragging its core base, instead of dragging fans along to the party where everyone is dancing together.

Audience Reviews for Con Man: Season 1

Super creative and funny TV series. it's a pity the episodes are only short, would be 20 minutes long. and where is season 3?
  • Sep 23, 2017
Sometimes amusing, but mostly kind of depressing. This show is not for the fans portrayed but for people who think fans and conventions are a kind of hell. Does not seem to like or respect science fiction shows or co-workers or other actors or fans or anything about the industry. Plus: lots of recognizable faces. Minus: leaves you depressed
