Crew Girl goes over about as smoothly as a shell slicing through a silver lake on a breezeless morning. It also leaves behind about as many lasting ripples. Go to Full Review

It all adds up to a series that isn’t afraid to row through familiar waters, finding plenty of charm in the formula rather than trying to reinvent it. Romantic tension, steamy scenes and regatta drama keep things moving toward the finish line. Go to Full Review

The actors are all able, so that even the ones obviously cast (in part) for their beauty — between the people, and the scenery and the shells on the water, it’s a nice show to look at — read as human. Go to Full Review

I think it’s partially to do with this being a total Canadian project with a cast of Canadian actors. They just feel off as blue bloods from Massachusetts. There isn’t the air of icy elitism that exists in that part of the country. Go to Full Review

With a beautiful cast, a teen love triangle, and a million drone shots of rowers cutting through the waters of a sparkling lake, this YA drama has appeal that sets it apart from competitors. Go to Full Review

Although it doesn't reinvent the wheel, Crew Girl has managed to position itself at the top of the catalog by delivering exactly what it promises: tension, power dynamics, and pure entertainment. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

YimYim S @RT99226418 Oct 9, 2026 It did not introduce any new ideas and was very predictable but I have to admit that I still watched it all the way through without hesitation. I cringed so much though. Even more than I did with Ginny and Georgia. It was wayyyyy too over sexualised and the actors did not look like highschoolers. See more Silva A @RT97788100 Sep 26, 2026 Really enjoyed this series! It’s entertaining, has a fun story, and kept me interested throughout. Not flawless, but definitely a very enjoyable watch. See more Isabelle T @RT71178763 Sep 26, 2026 This series is seriously over-sexualised and pursues degrading tropes that are completely inappropriate for today’s society. Terribly disappointing. Acting is terrible at best and there are numerous plot, character and setting holes throughout. See more Bags T @Bagwati Sep 25, 2026 A surprising good show! I was apprehensive to watch it assuming that it is like life with the Walter boys where the leads got on my nerves. But this was pleasantly fun to watch. The entire cast is decent and they all have good chemistry. And they focus on rowing which opens up a completely new world and makes it fascinating. My issue is with the two boys competing for a girl. I don’t understand the need to have such a casual love triangle thrown in (like they did in Walter boys and summer I turned pretty, two really bad shows). I hope they handle the concept properly here and show the importance of loyalty. See more kook T @RT58747035 Sep 22, 2026 Honestly, I had a lot of fun watching this. It’s entertaining, the cast is great, and the story kept me engaged. Really enjoyed it! See more Daniel S @RT89565253 Sep 21, 2026 I really liked the series and the characters, especially the main character Teagan. See more Read all reviews
