CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Season 11 Photos

Tv Season Info

Series 10 concluded with Ray (Laurence Fishburne) being brutally stabbed by serial killer Nate Haskell (Bill Irwin). In the eleventh series premiere, Ray fights for his life in a hospital while his fellow CSIs attend a funeral that suddenly turns deadly. Pop star Justin Bieber also makes his acting debut in the series premiere (and reprises his role later in the season). He plays a troubled kid trying to protect his brother, who is responsible for a series of bombings. Several grotesque and sensational story lines highlight the eleventh series' twenty-two episode slate, including: an apparent shark attack in a casino pool, a hoarder's house filled with dead bodies, and the reanimation and subsequent disappearance of two seemingly dead bodies. Also: famed American burlesque dancer and model Dita Von Teese guest stars in the mid series episode "A Kiss Before Frying."

You'll watch because you can't help it, but don't say you weren't warned about stunning gaps of logic or miscast superstars.

Season 11 started CSI viewers out with one of the more tender episodes I have ever seen.

While I do have my criticisms, and I do still think it's a goofy ass show, I found a certain respect for it by the end.

Even tucked away on a screen-within-a-screen, Petersen exuded the kind of energy and bristling curiosity that CSI too frequently lacks these days.
