Tv Season Info

The reality show's focus is to find out if modified cars can beat official sportscars in a quarter-mile drag race. Each episode three majorly re-done and fully decked out "sleeper" cars are pitted against a famous supercar: in Season 1, the supercars of choice are the 2006 Ford GT, the 2016 Lamborghini Huracán, the 2016 Dodge Viper ACR-E, the 2016 Lamborghini SV, the 2016 Ferrari 488 GTB, the 2014 McLaren MP4, and the 2016 Lamborghini Aventador SV. Among the modified cars are a 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS, a 1989 Ford Thunderbird, a 1979 Cadillac Coupe de Ville, and a 2005 Dodge Ram 3500. In the final episode of the season, all the cars compete against each other in order to win the title of "fastest car."

Audience Reviews for Fastest Car: Season 1

Pretty average viewing, nothing overly good, nothing overly bad... other than the fact that not a single one of the "sleeper" cars were actually sleepers. A sleeper is a car that looks completely stock from the outside and is usually a vehicle not associated with speed or racing (think a 1970s volvo or a family sedan) that has been modified to be super fast. All of the so called sleeper vehicles are very visibly modified and you'd expect them to be somewhat fast. Other than that, don't expect anything overly amazing, it is something to put on in the background while you are doing something else... or at least that is how I had it on.

Most cars aren't sleeper but full modified race/drag cars. Also the change the rules durning the season. I feel sometimes it was to dramtic,

    I love this show i hole tgere A season 2 a gem

Feels overly scripted and sub par porn star acting in certain cases. It's as if it was written by non car people to portray what they think car people are like. I feel as if the so called "sleeper" cars they used were instead barely running lightly modified cars for most cases. After the 1st two episodes it got severely painful to watch.

REALLY ENJOYED THIS SERIES SO FAR! iT WAS INTERESTING TO CONNECT WITH THE DRIVERS OF BOTH THE SLEEPERS AND THE SUPER CARS, AND WATCHING THE CARS RACE WAS THE REAL REWARD! I AM ANXIOUS FOR THE NEXT SEASON!

Awful! This show claims to put supercars against Sleeper cars and see if the sLeeper cars manage to win. The concept sounded good in the description. The reality of it was not even close to having sleeper cars. Most of the “sleeper cars” were sports cars to start with completely ignoring the concept of it being a sleeper. Everything Was hyped up with drama to get ratings. There was only onE competent supercar driver. I dont see this fulFilling the description of the show where you see which car is best. To do this you need competent drivers in all the cars. The sleepers were mostly garbage. At an hour long per episode you would expect several races. It drags on and on with fake drama for one race. Each episode could be summed up in ten minutes. I wIll not be watching Any more after seeing the First season.

I found this series very interestinG both for the descr of the carS And the people who bought and Built them. Good tension buIld-up to the race at end of each episode. But here’s the problem: the races themselves are anti-climactic. Half thE time is close-ups of drivers’ faces, little indication of whIch position cars are in until the last shot of finish line. They Use a split screen at the start - why not show driver’s faces in the four corners of the screen but show an uninterrupted shot of the Actual race!!! A replay from the drone would only take 15 seconds. Because the big question of each episode is not just who will win, but where they will place, after all the bragging. I hope there is another season ...
