Gangs Of London doesn't just put bodies into the ground; it exhumes the ones in the foundations of these supposed beacons of civilization. Go to Full Review

Gangs of London exists on a fully realized plane of its own, where brutality is power, death is inevitable, and even the pigeons are on cocaine. I love it. I cannot get enough of this show. Go to Full Review

Finch is a terrific audience surrogate, radiating the disgruntled lumpenprole badassery of Charles Bronson. Go to Full Review

With a long wait until Peaky Blinders returns, there's room for another lavish, sprawling crime drama. Gangs of London confidently barges its way into that space. It could well wind up challenging for the title of best crime drama on British TV. Go to Full Review

Despite all our reservations, we're recommending Gangs Of London because it feels like the story is going to be relatively straightforward. Go to Full Review

marc B @RT12025776 Sep 7 Brutal. So disappointing. Couldn't make it through the season. No imagination, no story. If I was involved with this project I would insist my name be removed from the credits. See more joao p @RT64250361 Sep 6 À boa maneira de John Wick ou mesmo Rambo em que um único homem dá conta de meia duzia de albaneses apenas com 1 dardo (para dar apenas um exemplo). Ridículo See more A.L.Jude P @judebd Jul 8 Such detailed narration to each segment cannot be seen in any USA series. See more Lane M @RT31121284 04/14/2025 EXCELLENT- Just gave this a try on Netflix and Love it, very well done - See more Jeff L @RT30241615 04/06/2025 Dreadful. If this is the quality which some, some seem to find credible, then we have a problem. Poor writing, empty characters, little genuine interest, it doesn't even look good. It lacks style, thought. And could someone remind me what the actual story is about? Just violence, a lot of which is uneccesary and somewhat daft. See more Shastri A @FilmProfHorrorFan 04/03/2025 Sean was the messiest ergo most interesting character of the show and it would've made for a terrific story if he was turned into its primary material and driving force, the narrative movement centered around his redemption arc or if that feels too naughty to purists, his arc-of-getting-embroiled-in-messiness-and-figuring-out-his-core. Instead we get an abundance of screen time with this Elliot fellow who is about as interesting as the things forgotten at the back of my fridge. Nice job. Won't be watching beyond Season 01 but a special shout out to Joe Cole for his nuanced rendition of Sean that is at once electric and restrained. See more Read all reviews
