The victim and defendant have a prison visit pretrial with basically no one else of authority in the room?! I disagree with the negative reviews concerning the reported issues with the acting, pacing, setting, contrivances, and plot holes. This series arced in the only way it could and remained steadily interesting and engaging until the very end. It was dark and demented without being depressing and hopeless, which is what allowed viewers to keep watching despite the uncomfortable and unsettling premise. The setting was ideal because there is no possible way the viewers could have tolerated this storyline cloaked in constant rain. Lastly, Hansen was one of the most despicable villains I've seen to date, so nothing was off the table in terms of how the resolution could have been orchestrated. Supposed to be in the UK, used some odd northern Spanish region to look like northern England. Didn't rain once and not even a cloud. Dodgy looking cars, with terrible number plates. Odd thing to notice I know, but sometimes it's the small things, even down to light switches. Anyway, the acting... absolutely shocking! The plot, full of holes. Seriously who signed this off.
