Samuel S 11/25/2023 Surprisingly solid fantasy adventure show, with a shockingly appropriate solid origin for the mogwai. It starts off a bit slow and generic, but it gets going a few episodes in and becomes quite fun and imaginative. Definitely in the spirit of the movies. Would recommend. See more Wari 10/04/2023 Gizmo (beyond singing his one song repeatedly throughout the series ) is basically useless and adds nothng to the show. He's basically a living backpack that the kids just carry around. Yes he's cute and soft in the films but he was never helpless. In Secrets of the Mogwai not only is he helpless hes borederline annoying. Infact the only thing I liked about the show was the music during the end credits. It's not terrible its just terrible ( for me ). See more Some Guy F 10/04/2023 Cheaply animated, poorly voice acted and can't the basics of it's source material lore correct...don't let them in the sunlight, it kills them....Gizmo runs around in the sunlight like it's no problem by the end of the first episode. Kid's shows don't have to be bad shows, but this one is. The characters are likable and Gizmo has never been cuter! Surprisingly dark and is a great love letter to China and Chinese mythology. I feel like the series just needed more time in the oven since I feel like the show is pretty solid I do think everything and I mean everything needed to storger writing.
