I'm a die-hard fan of the Gremlins movies, and had pretty low expectations for this. BUT, I have been incredibly pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable and well-made this show is. High hopes for a long future of franchise growth!

Ian from Gremlins Museum here: I sat down with my daughter (11) and son (2) this morning and finally got to see the first two episodes of Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai! A few observations on the show: - Everyone really liked it and the few ‘scary' moments weren't too bad for the little guy. In fact he wanted to watch it again. - Some people were worried about the animation looking cheap. It doesn't look cheap in the slightest and is very stylized and beautiful. - Without giving too much away, I wasn't too sure about the villain at first and magic battles, but was sold instantly when he just destroys the Grandpa with a finishing move a la Pennywise. He's grown on me a lot, and there feels like actual stakes at hand. He's a bad dude! - Love the grandpa and voice talent there, great character. - Gizmo is very fun and it's not hard to imagine this character being an extension from the movies. - LOVE the new mogwais and early reveal on the Gremlins. Red eyes look sick. Can't wait to see more, this feels really well thought out and cared for which is really welcome to see after 30+ years of quiet on the franchise.
