With considerably more robots and lasers than the original, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe wants to maintain the core premise of the eternal struggle between good and evil with an updated Mandalorian vibe. Go to Full Review

He-Man & The Masters of the Universe is a welcome update of the classic series, leaning into the themes of family and teamwork. Go to Full Review

What this version of He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe lacks in nostalgia it more than makes up for with smart dialogue, good CGI, and its ability to start building the world of Eternia from scratch with a compelling story. Go to Full Review

Kids of a certain age will find this new show distracting enough, but it's not exactly the most enticing, fan-generating approach to the material. Go to Full Review

It hardly reaches even the modest heights of Revelation's twists and turns. Still, it's hard to fault He-Man for its simplicity; its aims, after all, are simple. Go to Full Review

Clearly geared towards children, who will fully embrace and love this version. Longtime fans probably won't because of the many changes. Major Skylander vibes. Go to Full Review

Chicken N 02/03/2024 its literally only for lesbians See more Jeff T 12/10/2023 What a way to completely ruin a franchise. If you're a He-Man fan, don't bother watching if you want to preserve good memories of your beloved franchise. See more Reptile B 12/02/2023 I revived the wrong show.. sorry! I'll have to watch this one! See more X T 09/21/2023 They couldn't just let He-Man just be He-Man. They had to gender-swap, race-swap, and give everybody He-Man's power so that he wasn't special any more. Why is everybody wearing sneakers? Yet another deliberate undermining and desecration of the source material to "include" everybody for literally no reason. Everybody's special, everybody's magical, He-Man isn't the hero, he's just one of several little kids who are all equally powerful. Cringer at least *should* transform into Battle Cat, but there is no excuse for the other abominations they've shoehorned into this mess. There's a not-insignificant amount of stock footage as everyone transforms, and as they fight through stock footage attacks like any super-warrior anime. He-Man and Skeletor themselves come to a complete stalemate as their stock footage attacks simply statically bpress up against each other in an anticlimax as nothing much happens. If you loved the original series, you'll be shocked and appalled with how deliberately they've gone about damaging the franchise. See more Krishna K 08/25/2023 They seem to have drifted from the original idea, CGI is good, thanks to the technology but the designers and writers didn't do justice to the original HE-MAN, instead they created a puny kid who gets super powers (which is most of the super hero stories nowadays) original HE-MAN was a MAN (real man) responsible, kind and most importantly he inspired a generation, but this new one seems like a story of an irresponsible and careless kid, when this kid transforms into what looks like a deformed muscle mass instead of the impressive physical structure of the original HE-MAN, the people might wonder has the designers ever even seen a body builder See more Jo Luis Passos de Andrade J 08/08/2023 Sad remake made by people that unfortunatly had said that hated He-man. Don't loose your time. See more Read all reviews
