I thought oh yay, another great mystery series like Big Little Lies or White Lotus, with colorful characters and a tightly woven plot, but sadly this was not to be. Well known and well thought of actors who were "acting". A plot that did not dot its "i’s" nor cross its "t’s. I mean how did a girl from Bakersfield and another from a hippie farm afford to go to the same college as a millionaires’ child? I’d like my 6 hours back please. And I will forfeit my first 2. This show was phenomenal! And definitely not predictable. Both compelling and emotionally layered are the stories within the show. Incredibly honest… the characters feel real. They are all flawed, complex, vulnerable and deeply human. Rather than presenting perfect heroes or villains, the show explores the messy realities of friendship, loyalty, love, secrets, and the choices people make when life becomes complicated. Further, Imperfect Women succeeds because of its extraordinary cast. Kerry Washington, Elizabeth Moss, and Kate Mara deliver layered, emotionally intelligent performances that elevate every scene. I absolutely loved it so much I binged it in one night & believe me, I’m picky. The Mary character was soo good. Elizabeth Moss, excellent actress, as well as Kate Mara. See more Kathryn L @RT78716972 Jun 17 Early on I had an idea where this was going to go but I tried to tell myself that surely they were not going to be that lazy as to go there, so we continued watching onto the next episode even though neither of us were certain it was really worth it, then they did go there and that was it for both of us and we immediately said we didn't want to watch further. I know I may seem a bit cryptic but if you watch the show I think you will see what I am talking about. This show has good people in it but I don't think it brought the best out of any of them.
