Yeah some acting was not the best but the story got me hooked. Like obviously don’t take it too seriously but it was good drama that kept me entertained. I thought oh yay, another great mystery series like Big Little Lies or White Lotus, with colorful characters and a tightly woven plot, but sadly this was not to be. Well known and well thought of actors who were "acting". A plot that did not dot its "i’s" nor cross its "t’s. I mean how did a girl from Bakersfield and another from a hippie farm afford to go to the same college as a millionaires’ child? I’d like my 6 hours back please. And I will forfeit my first 2. Both compelling and emotionally layered are the stories within the show. Incredibly honest… the characters feel real. They are all flawed, complex, vulnerable and deeply human. Rather than presenting perfect heroes or villains, the show explores the messy realities of friendship, loyalty, love, secrets, and the choices people make when life becomes complicated. Further, Imperfect Women succeeds because of its extraordinary cast. Kerry Washington, Elizabeth Moss, and Kate Mara deliver layered, emotionally intelligent performances that elevate every scene.
