In the new episodes, Jella Haase’s Kleo remains a daunting, unpredictable prospect, but now the old order has collapsed and pre-reunified Berlin is a smorgasbord for grifters and spies alike. Still bloody, still enjoyable. Go to Full Review
Mike Hale New York Times 07/30/2024
The show’s ability to have a cogent political-historical point of view and also be infectiously entertaining has everything to do with its complement of engagingly off-kilter characters. Go to Full Review

If you have enjoyed watching the first season, then you will not be disappointed. The series sticks to the formula that worked the first time, and the humor is turned up a notch. Go to Full Review

While this may disappoint viewers who preferred the more serious tone of the first, [season 2] adds a layer of self-awareness that makes the show's more outlandish moments more palatable. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Kleo doesn’t take itself seriously at all, which we enjoy. But there’s enough character drama there to make the show even better than the spy thriller we reviewed during its first season. Go to Full Review

Anyone who bought into the characters in Season 1 will feel well served by Season 2, and Kleo’s zippy energy remains a treat for genre fans. Go to Full Review

Brandon 01/18/2025 Loved Season One, but quit watching season two before the second episode ended. It is trash. See more Lee C 09/22/2024 Season 2 was disappointing after the mostly quite entertaining first season. It became a slog, and the many factual errors (e.g., no, CIA agents are not part of law enforcement and they don't wear name tags that tell the world that they are CIA agents) grated on me. If there is a third season, I won't be watching it. See more Tony Z 09/08/2024 More fun than a barrel of random characters. And just when I'm thinking, that's it, it's just too goofy, Jella Haase puts on a face that brings me back in. I can't justify loving it, but I do. See more Paul T 08/29/2024 While we enjoyed season 1, the new season 2 borders on unwatchable. Just removed from continue watching list at episode 5. Too bad. See more Achille C 08/23/2024 Kleo is still the same but the story lacks of the first season magic. Disappointed See more Stefan P @SPPfromMN 08/17/2024 Season 2 lacks the magic of Season 1, storyline is weak and lacks the imagination and spunk of the first... very disappointing.
