Based on the DC comic "Green Lantern," drama series "Lanterns" follows new recruit John Stewart and "Lantern" legend Hal Jordan. These two intergalactic cops are drawn into a dark, Earth-based mystery as they investigate a murder in the American heartland. In association with Warner Bros. Television and DC Studios, the HBO series provides a fresh live action take on the popular universe and its characters. Emmy nominee Chris Mundy serves as showrunner and executive producer for this original detective story.

Full of origin stories, whodunit mysteries & a great introduction to this area of the DC universe, Lanterns is one of the best live-action superhero TV series I've ever seen. Plus, Chandler & Pierre are top-tier casting. [Full review in Spanish]

Exceptional writing. I know it’s not a bunch of explosions and constructs like a lot of people are complaining about but the character development over the course of the season is incredible. Kyle Chandler perfectly embodies a late in life Hal Jordan and Aaron Pierre is an amazing Jon Stewart. Can’t wait to see him alongside Superman in Man of Tomorrow. Hal and John are amazing together. Please let there be a Season 2 🙏

Green Lantern delivers on both fronts. The casting is spot-on across the board, every character feels lived-in and right for the story. It nails that classic Green Lantern energy while wrapping it in a sharp, grounded crime drama that keeps you hooked. A genuinely great watch.
