However, the city and police department have changed dramatically in the decade he's been away, and he must adapt to a criminal justice system in the midst of its own moment of reckoning. Mike G. @Zerocool700 Apr 15 Every season just gets better n better. Besides stabler is an excellent actor See more SKYLER B. @RT06351942 Mar 9 I love this show!!!!!! Please don’t cancel it! I get excited everytime a new season comes out. And I loved how they would cross over shows with Olivia and Eliot. Each season gets better and better. So much more can be told. Please season 6-100, I need more See more Natalie S @NatalieMichelle Feb 4 L&O OC is a valuable extension of the brand & continues to deliver a unique tone that differentiates it from other franchise entries. Christopher Meloni’s return as Elliot Stabler successfully re-engaged long-time viewers while also attracting new audiences. The on-screen history & chemistry between Stabler & Benson remain a major draw and provide strong crossover & promotional opportunities across the franchise. While Season 5 had cast changes, television history shows that refreshed ensembles can strengthen longevity when supported by strong lead characters & consistent storytelling. The ongoing arcs involving Stabler, his family, & his partnership with Captain Bell provide multiple directions for sustainable future storylines. OC also fills an important niche by offering a darker, serialized format that broadens the overall L&O audience base. Renewing for Season 6 would maintain brand momentum, retain loyal viewers, & continue expanding the franchise’s storytelling range. Getting to know the Stablers on a more personal level, seeing how stress really is impacting Elliot, and seeing his continued desire for justice was SO GOOD. I loved the shift to peacock and the edgier language and scenes. Also LOVED being able to have an entire episode written by Chris Meloni and his bringing Mariska in! Superb! See more Callie M @RT10883044 Jun 20 Season 5 of Law & Order: Organized Crime struggled to recapture the strong team dynamic that made earlier seasons compelling. Writing out Jet so early was a huge blow. She brought intelligence, attitude, and heart that kept the squad grounded. Her absence left a noticeable gap, and with Bell and Reyes sidelined for much of the season, the show often felt like the Stabler Show rather than a full ensemble. The writing seemed rushed at times, lacking the emotional depth and tension that longtime fans expect. While Chris Meloni’s performance remained a highlight, the season overall felt like a shadow of the series’ best moments. Hopefully, future seasons can bring back the full team and regain the show’s original energy.
