Fans of survival shows may remember Mykel Hawke and his wife, Ruth, from their two-season run on Discovery Channel's "Man, Woman, Wild," which documented their attempts to live outdoors for a few days -- with minimal supplies -- in harsh, remote regions. Having survived that ordeal, Mykel and Ruth trek over to Travel Channel to star in "Lost Survivors," a virtual carbon copy of their previous show. This time, however, the couple face survival scenarios without actually knowing where they are. They are dropped blindly into a wilderness location -- again with precious few supplies -- and asked to find their way back to civilization. Each journey tests the strength of their relationship, their teamwork, and the depth of their survival skills, which are enhanced by Mykel's experience in the U.S. Army Special Forces. Locations include the jungles of Central America, the swamps of the Southern U.S., and deserted islands in the Caribbean.
